active membership

All full-time, active, commissioned Peace Officers of the Austin Police Department, with the power of arrest who are paid by public funds of this incorporated city, are eligible for Active Membership in this Association.

An Active Member shall have the right to hold office on the Executive Board, may Chair or participate on any Committee or Sub-Committee and may vote on any issue addressed by the Association.

Dues: $24 per year

Associate membership

All full-time civilian employees of the Austin Police Department and retired peace officers of the Austin Police Department in good standing are eligible for Associate membership.

An Associate Member shall have the right to Chair or participate on any Committee or Sub-Committee and may vote on any issue addressed by the Association. Associate members shall be allowed to run for the positions of Secretary or Treasurer. They may also hold any advisory or supportive position.

Dues: $24 per year

supportive membership

All other persons, including spouses, significant others, family and friends of current members or members of other Police Departments may be a Supportive Member within the Association.

A Supportive Member may Chair or participate on any Committee or Sub-Committee but shall hold no voting power within the Association.

Dues: $10 per year
